Could we not politicize every act of violence please?
Before I read the article, a man bombing things should not be assumed to be aligned with part of a group unless he states so. Edit: Just finished reading it. TC sucks and isn't funny. This bomber was clearly a disturbed kid, and nothing more should be made of it. It is the second time Schneck has run afoul of federal law enforcement. He was convicted in 2014 of storing explosives at another of his parents' properties and sentenced to five years probation, but was released early last year.

well, i don't see any overt evidence of political affiliation from this guy but it seems likely to me that he was a crazy leftist. There was a "Destroy the Confederacy" protest the day before in Houston, where a few hundred people protested Confederate statues

Problem is that removal of Confederate statutes has unleashed a wave of anger and rage among many Americans. When that happens, you are bound to attract the truly crazy people like this bomber out of the shadows. Fortunately he was caught in time, but it is something that we have to guard against until this anger dies back down.
