I'm a liberal, and I disagree with this list completely.

I came from "generational poverty". I, as a human being, eradicated my own poverty, by taking what I had making it work. It was not easy. It still isn't. This is not to say that I never had help, or that others should not get help, but I have earned everything I have and have repaid many times over for the help I got. I'm not about to hand over everything that I have worked for, and no one else should either. I help where I can, (donations of time, money, goods, and services). But the house I worked for is for my children. The land where I grow my family's food is for my family. If you truly want something, you find a way to get it. Difficult and impossible are completely different. Take the opportunities that you have, and use them to create better opportunities. I will never live in a mansion, but because I'm willing to work my fingers to the bone, my children and grandchildren may have that life. |

They're just suggestions or requests ffs. Like just throwing out ideas. Some may think they are dumb but like I don't feel like throwing out suggestions that aren't inherently evil isn't bad or anything.
I wish more people would throw out suggestions to problems instead of simply pointing out a problem, so I don't feel the need to belittle someone for doing so.

I will not deny that extreme SJW's exist. They annoy the hell out of me. They make me look bad for being liberal, by association. Some people really do need help from social programs, but people who willingly live off of them, and then have the audacity to demand more are just wrong. I solved my problems through hard work.
When I was a child, my mother raised four children alone, in the projects, because of her mistakes. I watched out of my window, as people "hustled", day after day, and got nowhere. Waving down passing cars for cigarettes and change, and I saw the flaw in this. As soon as I was old enough, I saved up enough money to buy a push mower (the kind without an engine), and mowed yards, going door to door. I saved that money for a gas mower, and then a car. I got out of the projects, because I wanted more than that life. It's a matter of will. |
