Big talk but lies every time he speaks. At the end he's no maverick, he does what he's told so he can get reelected.

The Senate rejected legislation to repeal parts of the Affordable Care Act, with Senator John McCain casting a decisive “no.”

This man was a POW, served his country, a well respected person all around the world and on both side of the aisle, and is beating cancer as we speak. What the f*** have you done, besides troll a video game board?
I don't have to insult you. I have proven that you are a hypocrite and a fool. That's not insulting you, that's exposing you.

Something about McCain not supporting an act which could have helped him with his current medical condition.

TL;DR, he was the deciding vote in allowing the repeal bill to proceed to the Senate floor, which is likely what this topic is complaining about when it was created.

Fast forward to now, and he was the decisive "no" vote in killing the GOP's apparent last ditch effort to repeal the ACA with the "skinny repeal" provision that would have basically cratered the entire industry. Basically the complete opposite of the complaints that have been made about him the last few days.

He probably voted yes on the MTP just for this moment. He even said earlier "watch the show"

The truly astonishing thing about Trump is that he mocked a freakin' war hero by calling him not a war hero because he got captured, and his supporters just ignore that.

That's surely the worst thing you can say in a republican's mindset, surely? Belittling the combat achievements of veterans? And yet, Trump is invincible to this. It amazes me every day.

Not really that amazing when you understand the extent to which republicans put party before everything

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/syria-reflexive-partisanship-doesnt-apply-both-parties

In 2013, when Barack Obama was president, a Washington Post-ABC News poll found that only 22 percent of Republicans supported the U.S. launching missile strikes against Syria in response to Bashar al-Assad using chemical weapons against civilians.

A new Post-ABC poll finds that 86 percent of Republicans support Donald Trump’s decision to launch strikes on Syria for the same reason.
