It's now an offense in Canada to discriminate against trans people, including by misgendering them. In the hypothetical case that a person's status as trans (as opposed to a cis person pretending to be trans) needed to be established legally, how would that be done? Is there some objective way to tell?

This is just what professor Jordan Peterson was arguing and people refused to listen because "Trans rightz r importentz" because apparently people can't make the distinction between Trans people and Non Binary nonsense from people who want t wear their gender and an every changing fashion statement. I don't know about a way to decide who is trans or not, but if you are far enough into transition to be in those spaces, you are far enough in to have properly changed identification. That is the credentials that I would go by, as a trans woman myself.
