Yeah, if you can't find someone after 20 full years and then go off and marry "yourself", you have unrealistic standards set for your potential mate and/or narcissism at play here.
She appears to be an attractive fitness instructor, so it shouldn't have been all that difficult to lock someone down. There's something off about her clearly.

People often forget how important it is to have a sense of belonging in the world, to be appreciated. Loving yourself is a plus, but if you feel less than stellar because no one loves you, appreciates who you are, cares about you, has ever shown you love, it can fuck you up mentally.
Anyone that ignores this needs to take some human social and sexual classes. The people I read who parrot loving yourself as if that's the only possible thing, they often have not done any research. |

Pretty much. And to play a little arm chair psychologist... it seems VERY likely that she gets many male suitors and has been in many relationships.
THE PROBLEM (for her) however is that the men she is attracted / gravitates (the "Chads" as another poster indicated) to are very likely the ones that will leave her heartbroken (ie one night stands, short flings, pump and dumps, etc). The very "bad boy" qualities that she finds irresistible are the SAME qualities that gets the same man a lot attraction from OTHER women as well... hence he will never ever truly be "faithful, loyal, monogamous, etc" to her [hence the saying ~ a person will only be as faithful as their options].
Or the MORE likely result: she will never feel secure enough being with a man that she knows can easily snag another hot younger woman at a drop of a hat.
