No, I don't regret not voting. Trump didn't win a single county in MA.

Both were bad, Trump is way worse.

I would have voted for Clinton if I lived in a Swing state, but I don't.

I kinda find it sad that so many people are proud of not having voted. You know there's like 50% of votes that go unused every election because of that mentality, and even 30% would be enough to elect someone other than one of the primary two candidates.

I wouldn't vote for Hillary ever. That was gonna be the end of internet freedom and immediate war with Russia and the continuing of a lot of these stupid asd sjw based policies.

Since I don't listen to the ridiculous news headlines and actually do research and seek proper context the only things Trump has done that's bothered me is this new Afghanistan s*** and when he bombed a base in Syria. I might be missing something. But I'll never be tricked by the made up race baiting and fake Russian story. Sorry not sorry lol.

I'll be there to call him out once he really starts messing up.

This.

Voting for a third party sends the message that you disagree with both parties. They're obviously not going to win, but they can receive more funding once they hit a certain margin and it can signal to the two major parties what values people support.

Not voting at all just makes you look lazy and ignorant. Either side can just assume that you were going to vote for them but justs didn't want to go to the polling station. Hell, even doing a write-in joke vote is better than not voting.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

And this is, in my personal opinion, the secret to the GOPs success. They campaign on how the gov't is useless, and when elected they prove it!

Humor aside, I mean it. Republicans as a whole tend to be more distrustful of the government. Sure there will be Democrats who aren't the biggest fan of the more overreaching powers they can demonstrate and Republicans who do want a stronger federal government, but as a whole they tend to stick to their sides.
What I'm getting at is that because of their different views on the government, when Republicans threaten to shutdown the government (most recently seen during Obama's terms, but now with Trump threatening congress if the Wall doesn't get funding), their supporters are happy about it. Anything that takes away power or "wasteful" spending is something they're happy about and reward. Meanwhile, Democrats tend to not look as favorably on that and would never support their politicians making a point and putting the gov't into a freeze.

So many people saying, "no I didn't vote," blows my mind. I mean, I get it. I don't believe my vote matters either. No matter who wins they will get paid off by the mega corporations to make sure they keep getting whatever they want while the things the majority of every day citizens want (or deserve) will keep getting left by the wayside.

I really do get how so many can feel like their vote doesn't mean anything and no matter who wins it won't change their life in any meaningful way, but damn. Not even participating just seems a little extreme to me. Maybe I'm just clinging to the last vestiges of democracy unrealistically, but I just couldn't not vote. It seems like giving up and admitting we are living in a dystopian capitalist oligarchy. idk

No, I don't regret not voting. Trump didn't win a single county in MA.

Both were bad, Trump is way worse.

I would have voted for Clinton if I lived in a Swing state, but I don't.

      This.

Edit: Actually I live in Washington state, but Clinton was still going to win my state. And if she did lose my state then she surely would've lost the election even in the hypothetical scenario where my 1 vote would've allowed her to win Washington instead of lose it.

Nope. Trump is a better human being than that monster any day. Most people are, actually.

Hillary would have already gotten everyone in the US killed. Oh, only after she legalizes atrocities to children. Cuz you know, she supported things.

still can't get over the fact that Trump defeated literally every. other. Republican. candidate. how??

Rand, Rubio, Bush, etc... one by one. dropped like flies. crushed by tiny orange hands.

Because the Republican Party is still s***. Trump won over them because people wanted someone who didn't seem like a typical politician.

I might have liked Rand Paul to get the nomination, but there's no way he would have beaten Hillary.

You have to be more subtle than that.
Nope. Perfectly happy I didn't vote for Hillary.
And I'm in a state that went towards Hillary.

I am 100% proud I did not vote for Hillary Clinton, people can complain about Trump all they want, with Hillary the SJWs and crazy rioters wanted her in power. Imagine how things would be with SJWs, PC culture, and BLM having someone in power that caters to them.

      This, by a lot.

I remain proud of who I voted for (nobody); plus she won in my county anyways.

I voted for her, and thought she'd make a better president than Trump.

      still feel that way.
